Excellent Clinical TrainingIn addition to the two TCM clinics at our Santa Cruz and San Jose campuses, students have the opportunity to train in a variety of off-site clinical externships. Students can rotate in clinical settings focusing on mental health, HIV/AIDS, gerontology, community style acupuncture, U.S. veterans, or study at the first TCM residency in a U.S. teaching hospital at Highland Hospital in Oakland, California.

Five Branches University is located at 1885 Lundy Ave in San Jose, California, in the heart of Silicon Valley in the San Francisco Bay Area. We are easily accessible to Highway 880. The cities of Santa Clara, Campbell, Cupertino, Los Gatos, and Sunnyvale are in the vicinity.
SANTA CRUZ
At Five Branches University Santa Cruz, there's so much to do when you're not studying to become a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine. There's plenty of space to surf, hike, hangout, shop, and explore in sunny Santa Cruz.
Five Branches University is located at 200 Seventh Avenue in Santa Cruz, California, in the heart of the Monterey Bay area. The areas of Capitola, Downtown Santa Cruz, West Side Santa Cruz, and Bonnie Doon are to the North, a short distance away. If you continue exploring further south, you will also find communities such as Capitola, Soquel, Aptos, La Selva Beach, and Watsonville. Keep in mind that Santa Cruz is fairly small and distances are relative.
